Abbie Ape Kahookaulana Choy, 85, of Hilo died July 24 at Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Kalapana. Visitation 8-9 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. William “Bill” Henry Kraft, 85, of Kailua-Kona died July 12 at home. Born in Cleveland, he was a retired general manager of Honolulu International Airport, and had also worked as an air traffic controller at Honolulu International Airport, passenger agent for several airlines, and manager of Hilo County Airport, attended Kona Baptist Church and was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. Survived by wife, Ruth Kraft of Kailua-Kona; son, Robert (Beth) Kraft of Pahoa; daughter, Renee Kraft of Kailua-Kona; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and one cousin. Ralph Yoshito Iboshi, 71, of Bellevue, Wash., died July 14 in Seattle. Born in Hilo, he was vice president of KPFF, an engineering consulting firm in Seattle, active in many professional organizations, and an avid golfer and member of Pacific Northwest golf clubs. Margaret Levy, 65, of Koa‘e died July 2 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was an artist, mother, certified nursing assistant, public transportation advocate, member of Statewide Independent Living Commission and a founding member of Paradise Home Care Co-op. The Rev. James Yoshiyuki Sanbei, 88, of Hilo died July 21 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo.
